A place for the work

Welcome. I’m knowlezi, and this is a place for the things I design and build.

I’m interested in the whole process: understanding a problem, shaping an interface, writing the code, and keeping it useful after launch. This site will collect those projects alongside notes about the decisions behind them.

The first project is Churchfield: a maintainable website design system for local churches, with Google Workspace integration. Its first implementation is for St Leonard’s in Upton St Leonards. The name comes from Churchfield Road, where the church stands.

That implementation is still under review. I plan to open-source Churchfield so other churches can use and adapt it.

I’ll write here as the work develops: what I tried, what changed, and what I learned. Some posts will be technical; others will focus on design or the practical work of maintaining a product.
